Twilight fans around the world are excited over the past 3 years since Summit Entertainment have produced movies based on the very successful 'Twilight Saga' books by Stephenie Meyer. Twilight fans are especially looking forward to the Eclipse DVD release date.

Even Stephenie Meyer never supposed her stories would become just so famous. .

Stephenie Meyer wrote four books in the 'Twilight Saga' series - 'Twilight', 'New Moon', 'Eclipse' and 'Breaking Dawn'. Movies have so far been produced from the first three books, breaking box office records in their dramatic releases.

The fourth book, 'Breaking Dawn' has an extended, more complex story line and so Summit Entertainment has decided to make films out of 'Breaking Dawn'. 'Breaking Dawn' part 1 will be released in the theaters on November 18th 2011. 'Breaking Dawn Part 2' will probably be released 12 months later on November 16th 2012. Twilight fans are already marking down the dates on their Twilight calendars. Countdown clocks are appearing on popular fan websites.

The next highly anticipated date for Twilight fans is the Eclipse DVD release date. Along with the release day for Eclipse DVD will come Eclipse DVD release day events at major DVD outlets. Those have become quite popular, with guest appearances being made by a few of the cast and crew of the Twilight movies.

Like the first two Twilight DVD's, the Eclipse DVD will also include exclusive bonuses, being sold as a 2-disc special edition. A top favorite bonus this time is a commentary with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Stephenie Meyer, amongst other added features.

Many fans marvel if there will be any more Twilight motion pictures to come. At this stage it seems that the 2 Breaking Dawn movies would be the last as it is the closing book in the Twilight series. There has been an additional novella written by Stephenie Meyer, but whether any further motion pictures for Twilight will be produced beyond Breaking Dawn is unknown at this phase.

For now though, Twilight fans are extremely focused on the Twilight Eclipse DVD release date.
